THE MAZZER ZM FILTER CUP AT THE LONDON COFFEE FESTIVAL News 20/03/17 The second installment in the Mazzer ZM Filter Cup. There is a Mini Mazzer and a trip for two to Venice up for grabs for the winner. The collaboration between Mazzer, Prufrock and the UK Mazzer distributors Mulmar continues with another stage in this wonderful competition series. Over three days will be run a filter coffee competition at the brewing stage on the Mulmar booth during the Coffee Festival, Thursday, 6th April, 2017 – Saturday, 8th April, 2017. The prize makes this competition the UK’s second richest coffee competition (Just after the Coffee Masters ;D) so the winner should look forward to taking home a Mazzer Mini and a trip for two to the magical Venice and an invitation to visit the nearby Mazzer Factory with it’s stunning museum, and all the technology to make a brewing virtuoso feel very at home. This time we’ve modified the rules to make things a little more challenging. Each competitor will brew the same coffee roasted by Prufrock’s own UK Roasting Champion Matthew Robley-Siemonsma. You will receive the comp coffee at the booth and then be offered 45min to dial in and serve your coffee. We will have two Mazzer ZM’s on the bar, plus hot water set to 96 degrees C.
